Wallace, Idaho

Above the city of Wallace is a Historic scenic
trail that marks the place where
Edward Pulaski rescued trapped
fire fighters during the
horrific 1910 fire
that destroyed
millions
upon
millions
of priceless
timber.

Towards the end of trail you can still see some charred timber from the mine shaft where Pulaski hid the cornered and
exhausted firemen.

The Pulaski Tunnel Trail is dotted with exhibits that discuss the magnitude
of this historic fire.

Half way throught the gorgeous
creek-surrounded trail is
a wide bridge.

From this bridge you will get
a glimpse of this glorious
water fall.
