By the Good Family & Chad ~ 2004
Mrs. Good lived in the house directly behind my Hauser Lake Studio. Her friends referred her to me, and she knew exactly what she wanted before I even snapped the shutter of my camera.
She was a photographer’s dream. She knew she wanted an outdoor portrait. She was willing to wait until the greenery in our area was at the peak of beauty.
She wanted to know how to dress her family so that they all looked unified. She wanted to know if she should cut their hair the day before their portrait or a week or two before.
Mrs. Good knew where she was going to hang their portrait and approximately how large it would be.
I scouted out a beautiful location with a giant rock amid pristine foliage.
The perfect time was early July, and we chose the first weekend when her husband was free to join them.
She invested in a 24” x 36” canvas portrait for her home and smaller ones for their extended families.
Her preparation and
attention to details paid off with a gorgeous family portrait that she will treasure for years to come.
